Community-friendly screening

Many Valencia communities forbid permanent opaque walls on balconies. We start with freestanding frames, bamboo rolls on tension wire, and plant hedges in troughs — all removable if a neighbour objects.

Heat, fabric, and airflow

Dark canopies absorb heat and radiate it downward. We prefer pale open-weave cloth that filters light while letting air move, paired with a secondary solid panel only where glare is fiercest.
